ABOUT US

"Cura" is a Latin word with many meanings appropriate to our field of activity in the information world - namely "attention", "care", "administration" and "office work". It is such qualities of care and attention that we aim to apply to the wide range of information problems which organisations may encounter. Interestingly "Cura" can also mean "anxiety", "concern" and "trouble", and these are the worries within organisations that we aim to dispel through our work.

"Consortium" is a Latin word meaning "fellowship" and "participation" - a relationship we like to foster both with our clients, and through a wider network of information management professionals with whom we can build any consultancy or project team that might be required.

Cura Consortium was incorporated as a company in 1995 by Bob Wiggins as one focus for this network of information professionals. It is thus well placed to appreciate the range of information problems that organisations may encounter, and to identify effective and efficient solutions - whether or not based on information technology. It can draw upon this pool of individuals with proven experience to provide a flexible and individual service at competitive prices, unencumbered by costly overheads.
